Pink Sands Resort, Harbour Island’s first and most iconic resort is offering new and existing cottages to a limited number of buyers.

Prices are starting at $1.5 million USD, and the 25 cottages will be strategically located throughout the resort’s 20 acres to best enjoy views and private beach access.

Several new British Colonial-style 1- and 2-bedroom cottages are under construction, while existing cottages will be refurbished, one of the resort’s biggest renovation projects since it’s opening in 1951.

In addition to the expansion and refurbishment of the cottages, many of which will feature private plunge pools, the property is also expected to undergo renovations to its reception area, lobby, and legendary Blue Bar, which has been serving fresh island cuisine and classic Bahamian cocktails to guests for the past 65 years.

“The resort hosts many guests who have vacationed here for generations as well as many discovering the treasured property for the first time,” says General Manager Thomas Parke. “We look forward to this next phase which we believe will encourage travelers to continue visiting charming Harbour Island.”

British interior designer and longtime Harbour Island resident, David Flint Wood, is one of the lead consultants on the refurbishment of Pink Sands. The esteemed designer is known for his innate ability to transform interior spaces in accordance with the client’s vision and by adding his aesthetic touch in the most unexpected ways. Flint Wood’s influence on Pink Sands is apparent as soon as guests step foot into the resort where they are greeted by the recently unveiled Malcolm 51, a restaurant that pays homage to Alan Malcolm, the visionary founder of Pink Sands.

All units can be placed into a Rental Management Program, ensuring hassle-free and worry-free vacations. This program ensures that the property is there for guests not only now, but also for generations to come. The introduction of the sales presents an opportunity for a fortunate few who truly appreciate the unpretentious charm of the island to call Pink Sands their home away from home. For those seeking ownership, the ability to enjoy the island when and how they want, and capital recovery/Bahamian real estate investment, owning a piece of land at the iconic Pink Sands Resort is not only enjoyable but also a wise investment.
