Cooper Hawk Ridge: A New Arizona Neighborhood Offering 41 Homesites & Architectural Flexibility
Talking Rock, a private, residential golf community in Prescott, Arizona is opening Cooper Hawk Ridge, a new neighborhood that includes 41 custom homesites with both high desert and golf course views. Talking Rock’s newest neighborhood affords potential owners a broader spectrum of design freedom, and encourages a fresh approach to ranch architecture.
“Cooper Hawk Ridge is a special neighborhood that will provide owners with an opportunity to design bold yet timeless homes while blending indoor and outdoor living in uniquely expressive ways,” says Jim Jones, director of sales at Talking Rock. “This neighborhood will stand out for its individuality while using natural materials that complement the surrounding environment.”
Starting at $195,000, the homesites at Cooper Hawk Ridge range in size from a half-acre to two acres, and are nestled in a landscape flushed with juniper and piñon pine trees. The championship golf course was designed by Jay Morrish, and two holes from the course run adjacent to the west and south perimeters of the neighborhood while the northern boundary opens to the high country landscape.
With a goal of creating a truly unique neighborhood featuring uncommon ranch architecture, Cooper Hawk Ridge owners will be encouraged to explore contemporary design elements that incorporate steel, glass and natural wood materials. The neighborhood has already secured a trio of contracts plus a few reservations for homesites.
Adding to the neighborhood’s appeal, Cooper Hawk Ridge is perched at a higher elevation than other areas within Talking Rock, providing a different perspective of the lush landscape. “The elevation and the landscape within Cooper Hawk Ridge at Talking Rock offer homeowners a wide margin for innovative, distinctive design,” said John E. Sather, AIA, AICP, a senior partner at Swaback Partners who developed the design guidelines for Cooper Hawk Ridge. “We like to think that we’re empowering homeowners to take ranch architecture to the next level, to take a fresh approach, to consider a certain amount of unique, contemporary character when building their mountain retreat.”
Beyond playing golf at the award-winning club, also designed by Morrish, residents at Talking Rock enjoy access to the community dog park, a fishing deck over a pond stocked with bass and bluegill, a community garden, an on-site coffee shop and a full-service bar, grill and restaurant. Talking Rock residents also have the opportunity to indulge at the pool or boutique spa, exercise at the state-of-the-art fitness center as well as explore hiking and biking trails.
