Brian Wilson Asks $3.299 Million For His California Home
Originally purchased in 2011 for $2.1 million, The Beach Boys’ singer Brian Wilson and his wife Melinda have recently listed their Lake Arrowhead vacation retreat. The five-bedroom, five-bath home boasts 4,500 square feet, with an elevator providing access to all three floor, terraces and balconies on each level and picturesque views of the lake from the common rooms. The open layout of the home lends itself to entertaining guests, with an outdoor kitchen on the deck overlooking the lake. The home is professionally decorated and its soaring ceilings provide an airy, cheerful feel. Other features include a chef’s kitchen, two fireplaces and a single, solar-powered dock slip included in the sale of the property.

Lake Arrowhead has been a peaceful retreat for many celebrities, as well as a backdrop for films since the early 1900s. Some of Hollywood’s earliest actors built vacation homes on Lake Arrowhead, and the lake still serves as a popular destination for celebrities today. It has been a hot spot for Howard Hughes, Charles Lindbergh, Bugsy Siegel and Michael Jackson, among others.
The lake is also an ideal location for year-round sports, from water skiing to snow skiing, golf, hiking and fishing. The listing agent for the property is Joseph Evans of Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty. Furnishings are available under a separate negotiation.
