After a long day of sightseeing or traveling, nothing beats a refreshing dip in your hotel’s pool. But, these resorts decided to take their pools to another lux level: sharks, canyon views, and water elevators. These incredible pools are some of the most premier in the U.S., and certainly will be the standout part of any vacation to the resort.

Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona

Marvel at the massive red rocks surrounding you in the Enchantment Resort’s outdoor pool.

With a 360-degree view of the Sedona red rock, the main pool area at Enchantment features an outdoor swimming pool, a whirlpool and a seasonal pool bar.

Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada

“The Tank” is Vegas’s $30 million dollar pool-project, located in the famous Golden Nugget Resort. Featuring a 200,000 shark-tank aquarium, 17 private cabanas, and an encapsulated waterslide, thrust 30 feet up in the air and soar straight through the tank (yes, through the sharks).

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai (Big Island, Hawaii)

This resort is set on Hawaii’s Big Island, perfectly blending the nature of the island with the luxury resort property. The shining stars of this resort are the seven pools, with amazing creations like the Beach Tree Pool, steps from the ocean, the Ocean Pool, sectioning off a bit of the ocean for guests to enjoy, and the Seashell Pool, with an infinity edge and perfect for families.

Glenwood Hot Springs (Glenwood Springs, Colorado)

Located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, visitors come to Glenwood Hot Springs Resort to relax and enjoy, made easy by the resort’s incredible pools. Kept at a warm temperature, the larger of their two pools is ideal for swimming and lounging, whereas their smaller therapy pool, which is set to 104°F, is great for soaking and unwinding.

The Grove Park Inn (Asheville, North Carolina)

Taking inspiration from their rocky landscape, the Grove Park Inn has an underground trove of 10 mineral-based pools among cave rock backdrops. Other unique additions include waterfalls, a fiber-optic star-filled ceiling, and hot and cold plunge pools.

Grand Wailea (Maui, Hawaii)

This resort includes not just pools, but a complete
water-filled adventure for the whole family. Their Lava Tube slide is now open, with a water elevator taking guests up the “volcano” to the three-story drop. The Hibiscus pool includes a beautiful mosaic hibiscus at the bottom.
