Not Playing Around

By Mark Moffa

Founded in 2011 by a professional table tennis player and several dedicated advocates of the sport, Eleven Ravens claims to be the premier manufacturing company for custom-made table tennis tables in the United States. Its product line includes billiards, shuffleboard, and pokers tables as well.

Each element is carefully handcrafted, sanded, polished and fitted by skilled artisans. The standard playing surface is an Eleven Ravens blend of high-quality composite materials designed to be scratch and damage-resistant, as well as waterproof.

“I thought it would be significant if I could combine genuinely unique designs with the natural energy of table tennis‎ tables, billiards tables, and more,” says Bernard Semerdjian, the director of design for Eleven Ravens. Semerdjian is an internationally celebrated graphic designer, specializing in interactive digital interface design and 3-D imaging. “The response has been more gratifying than I could ever explain,” he adds.

Eleven Ravens Limited Edition custom-made table tennis tables fall in the $11,000 to $25,000 price range. Specialty custom-made tables are also available and start at $14,000, depending on complexity of design and materials.

The elegant Raven Billiards table has been designed to reflect the silhouette of the mythical bird itself.  It is available both as a table tennis table and as a pool table.

The Theseus flagship model showcases its elegant arch in poetic and flawless luxury design. Custom handcrafted by skilled artisans, Theseus tables come in Bamboo, Teak, Brushed Aluminum, or alternatively, in a highly complimentary Navy or White finish.

The fluidity and aerodynamic nature of the Lucite creates a movement to this piece of art, while the leather accents reinforce stability and ground the model as a centerpiece in any setting. This visual juxtaposition is the ultimate contemporary showpiece for your home. The Avettore Table is also available in solid wood with your choice of species and color accents.
