$60 million Penthouse Sale Breaks Miami Residential Record
By Stacey Staum
Faena House recently set a new record in Miami with the closing of a $60 million penthouse. This closing breaks previous records in Miami of $47 million for a single-family home and $27.5 million for a condominium. The magnificent residential tower designed by Pritzker Prize-winning firm Foster + Partner offers world-class architecture on an unparalleled beachfront location.
Each home features Molteni Dada custom-designed kitchens and Permasteelisa powder rooms and baths. Floor-to-ceiling window walls and door systems expand up to 12.5 feet to each private “alero,” a wraparound terrace that blends indoor and outdoor beachfront living.
Faena House offers residents exclusive amenities that include a spa, fitness center with ocean views, a private beach club, pools, gardens, a 24-hour doorman and a dedicated valet. Residents also have access to the amenities and services provided by Faena Hotel Miami Beach, which opens this winter.
In addition to the Faena House, the highly anticipated Faena District opened this fall and is poised to become a destination landmark. Envisioned by developer Alan Faena and his business partner Len Blavatnik, the Faena District is located in the Mid-Beach area and is a community focused on art and culture. The Faena District includes two additional residential towers — the Faena Versailles Classic and the Faena Versailles Contemporary, which have properties available for an average $3,000 per square foot.
Serenity Ridge To Be Featured in Motion Picture
By Stacey Staum
In August, realtors Carl and Christine Battista created a short marketing film about the property; the short would go on to win a prestigious marketing award by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing at their “Leader in Luxury” event. Shortly thereafter, representatives of Big Picture Productions contacted the Battistas, as the award-winning marketing short film impressed their team. Upon visiting the property, the crew decided that the unrivaled estate would serve as the primary shooting location for the film.
The property offers 11 en suite bedrooms, conference facilities, connoisseur kitchens, a private tunnel and guest apartments, and has been listed for $18.37 million. The home also includes a bowling alley, a two-story atrium pool, a spa, theater, climate-controlled wine cellar and a 29-plus-car AutoBarn, all surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, tranquil ponds and magnificent outdoor living spaces. The film is currently in development, and began filming in the last week of October.
