This 74-story, ultra-luxury residential tower coming to Chicago, has released three new interior renderings.

1000M is offering a much-anticipated first look inside the 832-foot-tall glass tower. Kara Mann, founder and creative director of Kara Mann Design, is designing the interior layouts and finish selections for the 323 residences and all amenities.
The renderings reflect the beauty Mann has envisioned for the residences. Her design simultaneously respects the purity of Helmut Jahn’s architecture. “The design intention was a modern, simple, elegant approach maximizing lake views throughout each unit,” Mann says. “The design is about opposing elements, the way the natural beauty of Lake Michigan collides into the façade of the city and 1000M.”
Homes will offer gracious open plans featuring expansive glass walls, an abundance of natural light and panoramic views of Grant Park, Lake Michigan, the Loop, and the surrounding Museum Campus.
There are three design options available in the kitchen and bath, black, white, and natural. According to Mann, “each of these offerings are set against a white backdrop of cabinetry and walls to emphasize the edited use of materiality.”
