Grand Cayman raises the stakes in luxury travel today with the opening of Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa and the launch of The Residences at Seafire on famous Seven Mile Beach. With a focus on design, Seafire’s 62 upscale modern residences offer a sophisticated and stylish Caribbean lifestyle and the chance to live where you vacation.
Slated to welcome residents in 2017, The Residences at Seafire are set on 12 acres of landscaped gardens by EDSA shared with Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, the 10-story architectural building offers contemporary Caribbean flair with views of the Caribbean Sea and the North Sound, a rarity.
Named after the moment when the sun touches the horizon and sets the sy alight, The Residences at Seafire feature diverse floor plans, from studios to four-bedrooms residences, ranging from 600 square feet to over 4,000 square feet. Priced from $1-8 million USD, other features include bi-fold doors that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, open living spaces with high ceilings and light interiors. All residences are complements by personalized concierge service, a vivid social scene and privacy.

Renowned interior designer, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, designed the public spaces of The Residences at Seafire. Drawing his inspiration from the natural surroundings and colors found throughout the island, is vision of contemporary Caribbean design is showcased in the chic lobby and model residences, while the rooftop lounge dubbed “The Nest” gives residents a stylish outdoor entertaining space to share a cocktail or relax in peace. “The Cayman Islands is such a design-driven destination with an incredible flavor for modern luxury. I was inspired by the beautiful colors, history and craftsmanship of the islands to create an upscale living haven at The Residences at Seafire,” says Bullard.
Seafire guests and residents have expansive, unrestrained access to Seven Mile Beach and its celebrated crystal-blue waters. Sustainability is woven through the site, with walking paths, open-air architecture, meandering gardens, coastal bike trails, solar panels, eco-friendly materials and modern designs that utilize natural elements to maximize energy efficiency and put Seafire on track for LEED Silver certification.
