One of Downtown Manhattan’s most prominent luxury residential condominiums, 50 West is the newest edition to Manhattan’s skyline. Helmut Jahn designed the 191-unit space, which soars at over 780 feet tall over some of New York’s most scenic views.
After unveiling the project’s re-launched website and model unit photography earlier this month, 50 West has officially received its latest TCO designation, with closings now in progress for the first group of buyers. As well, showcasing the project’s construction progress, photos (and website) by quallsbenson now reveal the first-ever real-time shots of the building’s exterior.

Four floors of the tower are devoted to state-of-the-art amenities: an immense Fitness Center, the beautifully-appointed Water Club, unique children’s amenities, and The Observatory at 50 West Street, a spectacular 64th floor outdoor entertaining space with seemingly infinite views of New York and beyond.
Views from 50 West Street’s curved glass windows are unparalleled. New York Harbor, both the Hudson and East Rivers, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island are all clearly visible; the FiDi project was developed by Time Equities Inc.

The New Downtown is one of the city’s most livable, convenient, and exciting neighborhoods with high-end retailers, celebrated restaurants, a robust public art program, two and a half miles of waterfront, and spectacular views of the city.
