Tahoe Beachfront Residences, in Kings Beach, California, are now Available for Purchase
On the heels of the $50 million Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement project, the first newly built beachfront townhomes in several decades, Tahoe Beachfront Residences, in Kings Beach, California are now available for purchase. The project has a furnished model for public viewing while the remaining homes are in their final weeks of construction. The model is open daily by appointment.
Purchase agreements are now being accepted for the 10 single-family townhomes ranging in size from 1,526 square feet up to 2,372 square feet. Buyers can take possession of their completed lakefront residence.
Set on an expanse of white-sand beach, this privately funded project has been regarded as a pioneering step in revitalizing the community of Kings Beach. “We hope this acts as a seed for more responsible redevelopment in Kings Beach,“ said Todd Davidson, a partner in Peak 10, the locally based developer group behind the project. “We are personally vested in this community and we’re super sensitive to quality, community values and creating something that we could be proud of.”
“Buyers receive lake views of Lake Tahoe from every residence combined with high-end luxury finishes,” said co-listing agent Bruce Soli with Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. “The beachfront access, level of craftsmanship and walk-about-town location is a unique find in Lake Tahoe. This is an opportunity to be right on the water for a price point that starts under $1 million.”
“We’re seeing a trend with buyers who want new construction and modern-style open floor plans,” said Alex Min with Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. “These townhomes speak to families who want to enjoy all the benefits of lakefront living but are turned off by the price tag and hassles of an estate-sized home.”
“We were mindful to work with local professionals to bring this project to life,” said Davidson who enlisted Dale Cox Architecture to design the townhomes while GLA Morris was brought on as the general contractor.
No expense was spared to equip these with the finest materials and finishes. Each residence was inspired by Lake Tahoe’s natural setting, resulting in a bright, modern, beachy look and feel. Each home is offered fee simple title (homeowners own the land below them) and complete with notable features such as Thermador appliances, wide-plank French oak floors, Hans Grohe fixtures, LED lighting, custom countertops and three-zone heating.
