With winter now here, it’s getting harder to escape the seasonal blues associated with lack of sunlight and chilly temps. However, several of New York City’s latest luxury residential developments have outfitted their fitness centers with saunas, spas and pools all perfect for escaping and recovering from the harsh winter weather. Here are six luxurious gyms perfect for working off that pent-up winter energy:

Citizen360: Designed by holistic interior designer Clodagh, best known for her work designing hospitality spaces and spa resorts, the wellness lounge at Yorkville luxury condominium Citizen360 features an infrared sauna, which creates the same far infrared heat produced by the sun without the harmful ultraviolet waves that the sun gives off. Residents can get rid of impurities from holiday parties and seasonal activities, as using the sauna helps remove impurities from cells, specifically cholesterol and heavy metals.
