Sting, one of the world’s best-selling music artists with over 100 million records sold, and wife, actress and producer, Trudie Styler, just listed their penthouse home at iconic 15 Central Park West for $56 million, according to Corcoran.com.
Sting and Trudie were among the first buyers at 15 Central Park West, picking up PH 16-17B for nearly $27 million in 2008 from the developer. The home was designed by noted designer Lee F. Mindel, who added a two custom sculptural spiral staircases to the duplex property, which is made up of approximately 5,417 square feet and direct Central Park frontage spread over the two floors. The property also has a sprawling terrace of nearly 400 square feet.
PH16-17B is configured as a three-bedroom, plus home office/4th bedroom, with designer chef’s catering kitchen featuring two full-sized refrigerators, a Wolf stove top and four ovens, and three Miele dishwashers. The Master bedroom suite takes up 70 feet of frontage directly on Central Park with incredible views, with two large dressing rooms, a spa bathroom and an additional bathroom with rain shower and steam.
